Job Description

Senior Back-end developer£53,000 - £63,000Norwich / RemoteOur client, an industry leading technology organisation, with over 500 staff across USA and Norwich are looking to expand their back-end development team.This role supports the Tech Lead in the delivery of projects and ongoing site improvements as well as having oversight on the company DevOps / Infrastructure estate for a platform that sees well over 150 million users worldwide each year.Youll play a pivotal role in helping develop and maintain key features for the UK platform, working closely with the commercial team and take ownership of the companys technical infrastructure. As a result, were looking for an experience senior software engineer who enjoys responsibility and wants to work as part of a talented and friendly team.Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day development and longer project development.
  • Working with the commercial team/leadership team to plan projects.
  • Managing DevOps infrastructure.
  • Supporting the wider development team where required.
  • Communicating with the San Francisco team from time to time with regards to companywide changes.
  • Ideally youll:
  • Be passionate about self-improvement and at ease with constructive feedback
  • Work with equal enthusiasm whether youre leading a task or working within a team
  • Be able to give constructive feedback, work through competing viewpoints and handle challenging conversations effectively
