Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join a global Utilities company based in Norfolk thats looking to add an experienced Senior Software Developer to the Team as soon as possible.In this role your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with design, coding and maintaining the Cloud software services, including front and back-end development of their user facing systems and socket systems connecting directly with deployed hardware
  • Development, Testing and deployment of reliable, functional code
  • Working independantly
  • Assist all staff with technical issues for example - debugging, query handling, etc.
Development skills include:
  • Rust
  • Python
  • Java
  • PHP
  • Vanilla JavaScript/NodeJS
  • HTML/CSS
  • Familarity with AWS systems
  • MySQL databases
  • Linux
  • GIT version control (GitHub)
Theyre looking for someone that is motivated, driven and organised with good problem-solving skills that can work well in a team and also excel individually. Youll be able to articulate technical matters to non-technical staff for instance warehouse staffto ensure smooth running of operations. Youll also have high standards of delivery and quality attention to detail.This will be joining a successful Team with clear progression routes and good benefits.
