Job Description

Senior JavaScript Front End Developer (Ecommerce)Norwich/Fully Remote Circa £45,000An exceptional chance to join a renowned online retailer(ranked among the Sunday Times Top 100 Small Companies to Work For) as a Senior JavaScript Front End Developerhas presented itself.As a member of the development team, youll be instrumental in delivering top-qualitytechnical solutions in accordance with best practices and industry standards.Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technical solutions across the commercial website and internal systems in line with the companies engineering standards and architecture
  • Work with product managers, product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define appropriate solutions
  • Advance the user, developer, and customer experience of our technology stack through new and innovative ideas
  • Play a leading role in resolving live issues relating to front end code
  • Lead on best practice and principles within a team
Required Experience
  • Expert knowledge on JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of Vue including VueJS (v2) and Vuex
  • Excellent understanding of modern frontend architecture (especially Micro Frontends and web components)
  • Good knowledge of mobile-first and responsive development and modern styling techniques (CSS, Sass, Atomic design, design systems etc)
  • Familiar with Git source control and experience working within agile product team
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and optimisation techniques
Nice to have
  • A broad knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, NuxtJS, etc.)
  • Some knowledge of backend development (ideally with Node) and server-side languages
