Job Description

Senior Geotechnical EngineerReference: BY1171Location: NorwichSalary: £45,000 - £55,000Do you have a background in engineering geology and/or geotechnical engineering Are you looking for a new senior position in Norfolk providing opportunity for career progression and responsibility This is the position for you! This is an exciting opportunityfor a Norwich based Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of approximately 10 ground investigation and testing specialists on a variety of exciting and technically challenging projects around the East and Midlands.The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be offered:

  • A top salary (£45,000 - £55,000).

  • Work on a variety of exciting projects.
  • Client facing work allowing for networking.
This Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will be overseeing all site and report work (supervising and reviewing), managing contracts, communicating with clients, tendering, and report writing. The position provides opportunity to move into a more managerialrole, taking on business development responsibilities and overseeing the company as a whole.The Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will have:
  • Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes.
  • Familiarity and experience with UK site investigation techniques.
  • A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering or a similar, relevant subject.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving licence and a full right to work in the UK.
  • Be commutable to Norwich/Norfolk.
