Job title: L3 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Quidenham, Norwich Salary: £20,012.16 - £21,441.60 (Actual, Term time only) Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (5pm on Thursday, extra half an hour taken off another day) The purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to support the children with their learning and care whilst in school and other settings. As well as developing and delivering personalised learning, you will work with colleagues to support pupils with their daily routines,transitions and positive behaviour management. A tailored approach to the individual child ensures that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. The Teaching Assistant will need to support the ClassTeacher with the day to day running of the class.The children you will be supporting will be 6 - 10 years old with communication and interaction difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some of the children may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that createbarriers to learning.
