As a SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximisesstudents’achievement and ability to develop.This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupilswith varied and complex needs. We are looking for a SEN Teacher, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.Educated to Qualified Teacher Statusyou will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.About usAcorn Park is a school for 98 pupils, who all have a primary diagnosis of Autism. We run two curriculum pathways – Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex needs pupils are on the Semi-Formal Pathway which is highly personalised from their EHCP. We have a mixtureof Day and Residential pupils as we have 8 co-located pupil’s homes on our 30 Acre site in rural Norfolk.
