Job Description

Security Operations AnalystNegotiable SalaryAre you an experienced IT professional Are you looking for a new challenge with a strong and growing companyOur client is looking for their next Security Operations Analyst. You will be rresponsible for the monitoring and execution of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), contributing to information security governance, managing incident response, supporting projects, vulnerability management, penetration testing, patching, emerging threat analysis and security reviews.What to Expect:

  • Security Metrics evidencing progress on improvements to security posture
  • Patching and vulnerability remediation plan
  • Oversight of delivery of patching, out of support systems etc
  • Identification and management of security risks
  • Execution of patching etc
  • Generation of security metrics
  • Risk map and management plan relating to IT security
    • What we are looking for:
  • Strong security operational experiencegained in a Security Operations Centre (SOC);
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SCCM/SCOM, Citrix, VMWare and Fortinet Products;
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Server 2016, 2012 and 2008 products within a DC environment;
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL administration;
  • Strong experience with Office 365 product stack, including exchange online and administration;
  • Strong experience with infrastructure networking including, WANS, VLANS and VPN’s;
  • Strong experience with Azure AD, GPO, DHCP and DNS;
  • Strong experience with Dell Servers, switches and storage arrays;
  • Experience of supporting and maintaining IaaS within Azure or AWS;
  • Strong focus on detail, process adherence and metric reporting;
  • Experience of working with third party organisations to implement security tools
