Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Client SideNorwich£50,000 - £60,000About the CompanyAn amazing opportunity to join one of the most established independent practices of Project Managers and Chartered Surveyors as a Senior/Associate Project Manager. This company provide services ranging from Project Management, Cost Management and EmployersAgent services for a full spectrum of clients including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, County Councils and Private Developer and Commercial clients. They operate from our offices in Norwich, Cambridge, Chelmsford and London.Information on the role

  • Produce tenders for new projects
  • Managing a project from set-up to handover and evaluation.
  • Produce accurate take offs for projects
  • Produce and update of procurement schedules for all projects
  • Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages
  • Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works
  • Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities
  • Work closely with architects and other professionals
  • Navigate and understand building codes
  • Process paperwork and travel to building sites as required
  • Monitor construction processes
What wed like from you
  • Professional qualification (MRICS / CIOB / APM) or equal experience in quantity surveying
  • Experience in a variety of sectors e.g., including one-off residential dwellings through to complete estate regeneration schemes; master plans; commercial offices; industrial; infrastructure; education and leisure.
  • Updated knowledge of building codes
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Exceptional math skills
  • Self-motivated personality
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and time management skills
