Job Description

Serve Talent have team up with a local industry leader and we are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join their team in Norwich.The business in manufacturing Special Purpose Machinery and are committed to maintaining the highest possible quality in their operations and you could be at the foundations of their success.Seeing their staff as an investment and not a cost, here is more about the responsibilities in Quality Technician role:

  • Investigate component failures and build issues.
  • Manage supplier quality issues through reporting processes.
  • Manage on-hold inventory resulting from the report processes.
  • Manage internally reported quality issues.
  • Contribute to the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and field issues.
  • Perform mechanical sample and incoming goods inspection.
  • Perform incoming laminate inspection.
  • Manage the calibration of the companys gauges and instruments.
  • Support third party certification activities to recognised standards such as BRC Global Standard, Packaging and Packaging Materials and ISO 9001.
Qualifications and experience:
  • 5 GCSEs A-C or NVQ level 2 or IVQ Technician certificate.
  • Previous experience in an Inspection role in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  • ISO 9001 internal or lead auditor.
  • Demonstrable drive for continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Approachable.
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail.
