Job Description

A leading Oil & Gas business in Norwich are looking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer, who has a strong background in Auditing & Health & Safety, for a 3 month Fixed Term Contract (although there could be scope for this to extend to 6 months).You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Head of QHSE & Business Improvement.
  • Responsible for continued development/improvement.
  • Support the development of Audit & Improvement Programmes.
  • Produce Quality Inspection Test Plans for Projects and Bids.
  • Deliver QHSE support and advice to Projects and Bids.
  • Review project documentation to Company standards.
  • Take part in Bid, Project & Design reviews.
  • Manage the application / use of non-conformance process to closure.
  • Lead / support project improvement activity.
  • Report regularly on quality related project performance.
  • Support the implementation of the Quality Management System.
  • Conduct inspections and liaising with suppliers.
  • Support the completion of internal & external Auditing program.
  • Compilation of reports, inspection forms and release notes.
    • In order for your application to be successful, you will need the following skills, experience and qualifications:
  • Relevant industry Quality qualification, ideally level 3 in QHSE
  • Have a recognised Auditor certification
  • 3-5 years experience working within the Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical or similar industry in a similar role preferably dealing with offshore structures, drilling or sub-sea equipment.
