Job Description

I am currently recruiting for one of the citys most respected employers, a renowned Financial Planning firm based on the outskirts of Norwich are looking to recruit a dedicated Protection Adviser.You will be a driven candidate full of enthusiasm with exposure to both corporate and personal insurance including ideally knowledge of Life, CIC, Key Man, PMI and general protection. Whilst Corporate Protection advice would be desirable this role may be suitable for a form Mortgage Adviser with experience of some personal protection.My client is a very well-established organisation and their large team of Financial Planners are able to refer a high and steady volume of referrals to the chosen candidate as well as existing employees in this role.The office is a relaxed environment, stress free where you can happily work a 9-5 day, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary along with market leading benefits such as a company pension, 25 days holiday PA, death in service.Main dutiesYou will pro-actively deal with enquires generated by the Financial PlannersYou will be responsible for undertaking and maintaining a practical working system for your own client accounts as well as being responsible for building and maintaining one to one client and insurer relationshipsYou will cross sell and up sell to existing clients to ensure fully comprehensive cover is provided to support all the clients needs, including opportunities from across the businessYou will ensure you are compliant at all times with regards to requirements of all relevant regulatory bodies and the businesss best practice proceduresYou will be responsible for self-development and utilise opportunities for growth within the roleSkills RequiredYou will have the ability to sell, including cross selling and up selling to an existing client base whilst taking the time to understand both client and corporate clients needsYou will have proven technical ability and knowledge of insurance (specifically corporate based)You will understand a comprehensive range of insurance products and The MarketYou will demonstrate organisation and discipline skillsYou must have good time management with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver on expectationsYou will hold excellent communications skills across all methodsYou will have the ability to work alone and as part of a team and develop relationships top ensure best practiceYou must accurately and efficiently deal with high workloadsQualificationsPreferred - insurance qualifications and/or working towards ACII.Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Protection Adviser Required skills
