Role ResponsibilitiesProperty Coordinator:Working at our housing service MY PLACE, your role will be to ensure a safe and secure environment through management of Health and Safety. Duties include:
  • Undertaking pre and post void inspections, void turnarounds and end of tenancy procedures to maximise occupancy
  • Fire alarm testing, planned evacuations and other checks
  • Undertaking Health and Safety Checks, building inspections and visual electrical safety checks
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety records are up to date and available for inspection
  • Ensuring all tenants are aware of Health and Safety procedures
  • Responding to Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Undertaking regular building checks
  • Assisting Housekeeping with cleaning of void properties
  • Arranging for maintenance issues to be responded to, providing access and facilitating visits from contractors
  • Providing front of house cover responding to general enquires from tenants and visitors
  • Preparing meeting rooms for tenants and staff
  • Logging and managing incoming mail
  • Undertaking cashing up, banking and replenishing of petty cash
Person SpecificationProperty Coordinator:
  • Experience of working in a housing or support setting with vulnerable young people or adults
  • Knowledge of Intensive Housing Management activities including rent collection and tenancies
  • Hold a full driving licence and have own transport
  • Ability to communicate clearly with tenants, staff and external agencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • A competent user of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to make written reports, complete and maintain tenants records
  • Able and willing to work unsocial hours
Terms of Role:
  • 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
  • Participating in a rota 7 days a week between the hours of 7:45am - 10:15pm for 365 days of the year
