Excellent role on offer for a Production Planner looking to join a dynamic, market leading manufacturing company where you will work on exciting custom projects for a company that are well known to look after their staff. Are you a Production Planner with experience of working within a manufacturing environment Do you have experience of coordinating between design, sales, purchasing and manufacturing Are you looking to join a forward thinking and stable companyEstablished for over 40 years this market leading, niche manufacturing company supply bespoke products to a range of high profile sectors, such as the Motor Sport and Defence sector. Despite the recent pandemic they have recently moved into larger premises to grow the business further. They are therefore looking to recruit a Production Planner that will help them grow the business.In this role you will be required to liaise closely with the design engineering, sales, purchasing and production functions to ensure the timely despatch of orders. You will coordinate the sourcing of materials and outsourcing of fabrication, painting and plating.This role would therefore ideally suit a Production Planner from a manufacturing environment who is looking for a varied role working for a stable company where no two days are the same due to their products being custom manufactured. The Role: * Produce and maintain production schedules* Co-ordinate the sourcing of key materials and out-sourced processes* Organise transportation of orders* Maintain the company database: confirming sales orders, updating contact info* Assist in developing a new and improved CRM / MRP system* Working 9.00 to 6.00 = 42.5 hours per week, which will increase in the winter (1.5 O/T rates)* £23,500 - £25,500 + Lots of Overtime + Bonus (OTE £30+) + BenefitsThe Person: * Production Planner* From a bespoke manufacturing background - Machining, Fabrication, Assembly* Must have excellent communication skills* Looking for stability* Must live local to Norwich Required skills
