Production Line Manger - Norwich - Competitive PackageWorking within the UK business and reporting to the Site Director you will take overall management responsibility for the specified operational area. The role involves Managing a team of people to deliver a world class levels of service delivery to our customers. Strong people management and team development skills are a must, together with a dedication to drive the business forwards, maximising productivity to ensure targets are met within the fast-paced environment.Using your exceptionally strong people management skills, you will drive performance to achieve the required output against customer KPI’s and production plans. You’ll be shop floor based, managing and motivating your team at the level of the individual, with the view of building a strong team to achieve and maintain productivity goals, in a non-automated, highly people focused production process.Crewing is important. You’ll crew the line to ensure the staffing levels and volumes are aligned, adjusting accordingly on a daily basis as required.A mature and controlled approach to business and a passion to lead a substantially sized team are a must.You will execute on operational improvements required to deliver the targeted operational and financial outcome.What you will need:A strong people manager, with a track record of non-automated production environments, and direct management of people by themselves.Someone who works on the front line, driving success.’.To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:Understanding of the service industryAwareness of technologies, products, customers and competitors within the Telecoms industry desirableUnderstanding of the manufacturing / service industryAwareness of H&S legislation (i.e. COSHH, RoHS and duties of care)Business systems ISO14001/2004, ISO9001:2000Excellent communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesThis is a fantastic opportunity, please send your cv in confidence.
