Job Description

Serve Talent have partnered with a successful Engineering business to recruit a Production Co-ordinator for their manufacturing facility based in Norwich, Norfolk.The purpose of the role will be to support production in achieving and maintaining health and safety, quality, productivity and customer service. You will hold responsibility for ensuring department material for auxiliary items so that sufficient stock availableto meet the day to day production requirements and deal with any personnel matters.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Checking and ensuring works orders are correct at the start of each shift.
  • Checking the machinery to ensure accuracy and that sufficient stock is available for production.
  • Print labels and works orders for production.
  • Work closely with the Production Planner on a daily & weekly basis to ensure that all components are on-site for production.
  • Assisting Supervisors and Managers with administration activities, review of SOPs, PWUER assessments and risk assessments.
Ideally youll have:
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment - ideally injection moulding but this isnt essential.
  • Be physically able - this role interfaces between the factory floor and production offices and includes standing, sitting and lifting weights of up to 10kg on a regular basis.
  • Be someone who is very organised and who has the ability to plan ahead.
  • Someone with a can-do attitude and who possesses common sense.
