Job Description

Product Owner | Insurtech | Norwich | Hybrid | Up to 45KWe are excited to be working with a growing Insurtech business based in Norwich, who have a requirement for a Product Owner to join their team as they look to grow in the upcoming year.As a Product Owner, your job will be to translate the product roadmap into well-defined requirements and workwith the wider product team to support the delivery of new product development activities.Role:

  • Lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements for new products
  • Translate current propositions and processes into digital products
  • Contribute to detailed user cases and define user needs
  • Participate in wireframe workshops with design team
  • Write functional requirements documents
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing products, gathering feedback from internal teams, partners, and customers
  • Organize workshops with design and development teams to align on business requirements and collaboratively create solutions
  • Conduct structured functional testing on new solutions, develop user acceptance plans, and coordinate resources with internal teams
Experience needed:
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar Product or BA role
  • Strong experience working closely with internal software engineering teams and designers
  • Knowledge of the Insurance Market / Products would be a big bonus, but not essential
  • Experience working within software or a start up environment would be beneficial
  • Experience of effective stakeholder engagement and management at various levels of the business
  • Wider business experience across sales, marketing, data or customer service role
