Salary £18,751 per annum based on 28 hours per week(FTE of £23,439 per annum based on 35 hours per week)Mpower Norfolk (Norwich), provides intensive and goal-oriented support to mothers (and where appropriate their partners) with highly complex needs whose children have been removed into care. As a Practitioner you will do this by taking a relational approachthat centres around the needs of each service user.You will work with a high level of independence and self-direction, maintaining strong professional boundaries. You will be confident using assertive outreach to engage service users. As support for service users can last for a maximum of 24 months, youwill ensure your work is purposeful, effective, and appropriate.Ultimately, your support will enable service users who have experienced complex trauma and loss to make meaningful change, rebuild their lives, and reduce the number of children being removed into care.You will be joining a service that has been running successfully for ten years and is going through an exciting period of expansion and development.It is essential that you have three years’ experience of working intensively with people with highly complex needs and collaborating on complex safeguarding cases. You should be confident lone working for extended periods of time and independently makingdecisions around support for service users. It is essential that you are able to manage your own caseload, completing all case recording paperwork and impact measurement tools.
