Job Description

Salary: £39,496 - £48,739 per annumJob Location: Hybrid/Remote - Reed House, NorwichHours: 36 per weekContract Type: PermanentIf you are looking to enhance your experience, or take the next step in your property career, and have a passion for housing projects, then this is the opportunity you are looking for.We are looking for a Planned Investment Surveyor/Manager to help deliver part of Clarions £111m annual planned investment programme nationally. Our planned programmes include component replacements (kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, heating etc.), specialistprojects, remodelling, retrofit schemes, mechanical & electrical projects and some complex engineering projects. All of these works are carried out to multiple tenure types across a wide geographical area.About the roleAs a Planned Investment Manager, you will be supported by our experienced established team, who cover a wide geographical area, delivering a planned programme of work through our partnering contractor. You will report to the Lead Planned Investment Manager,and assist in formulating a planned programme from asset data, whilst taking into account business needs and strategies, stakeholder priorities, government targets and initiatives, external funding and social responsibilities.Within your area, you will manage an annual budget of circa £2m comprising capital and revenue expenditure, and manage monthly valuations, ensuring alignment with forecast spend.The role will be mainly home based, we also have various office bases nationally.Other responsibilities include:

  • Pre-planning and delivery of multiple projects and programmes within agreed timescales and allocated budgets
  • Assist to develop, plan and prepare an 18 month detailed rolling planned investment programme of work that aligns to Clarions asset strategies, including delivery of stock condition surveys
  • Assist to develop a 5 year programme based on a borough by borough delivery approach
  • Deliver on-site inspections which provides assurance of the quality of service and product delivered
  • Manage and monitor expenditure and budgets to ensure cost effectiveness is kept at all times
  • Identify and manage queries from internal and external stakeholders in line with KPIs and customer service targets
About youTo be successful in this role, you will have knowledge in the pre-planning and delivery of Planned Investment projects and programmes.
