NXTGEN are looking for a driven and experienced Payroll Assistant to join a successful and recognised Chartered Accountants based in Norwich. The successful Payroll Assistant will be joining an expanding and high performing team and will be a key part inprocessing end to end payroll duties. This is a brand new position that will see you work within a supportive and fast paced environment processing payroll for clients and looking after all of their payroll needs. As Payroll Assistant, you will be responsiblefor a varied client portfolio and will manage all client queries that arise.Key responsibilities of the role will include:- Be a key part in processing all payroll requirements for a varied client portfolio- Calculate auto enrolment payments and ensure these are reported- Support with HMRC including RTI submissions efficiently- Produce P11d/P45/P60 in a timely manner- Manage all client queries and needsThe successful candidate will need to have had prior experience working in a payroll function, experience gained in an Accountancy practice/Bureau environment isnt essential if you have the relevant experience. Candidates will need to demonstrate excellentknowledge of their payroll ability as well as payroll legislation. Good excel and IT skills are also desirable and candidates will need to have excellent communication skills due to dealing with clients on a daily basis.
