Job Description

Finance Manager - Norwich£28,000 FTEPart time 21 hours per weekWe are delighted to be working for this fantastic charity to find the right part time FinanceManager on a part time basis. Reporting to the CEO, this role would suit a candidate who is looking for job satisfaction as this organisation offers variety, flexibilityand an opportunity to take responsibility of the accounts function.Your duties will include;

  • Day-to-day book-keeping using Xero, including transaction processing and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Process all income and expenditure sources.
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset register and posting monthly depreciation charges, additions and disposals.
  • Working with the Operations & Support Manager to ensure all supplier payments requested are completed on time and within budget.
  • Preparation of monthly salary information sent to external accountants for processing.
  • Ensure all staff are paid on time each month.
  • Process expense claims and expenditure requests.
  • Respond to payment requests using national and international bank transfers as appropriate.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly finance reports working with Founder and Senior Finance Manager if and when required.
  • Develop and maintain cashflow forecast.
  • Process Gift Aid where this is not completed by Enthuse.
  • Preparation of Annual Accounts for independent review/audit.
  • Support and prepare yearly budgets and target setting with input from Founder, Operations & Fundraising Managers and Trustees.
  • Manage all contracts that we hold with the charity such as insurance and rent.
  • Ensure appropriate financial and accounting policies, procedures and controls are in place and are being adhered to.
  • Ensure the income tracker is regularly updated to track the fundraising budget.
  • Other finance duties, when required.
