Job Description

Atkinson Moss are delighted to support their client, based West of Norwich, in search for a Business Support Manager to support the COO of a large and fast paced organisation.This is a new role within the business and the successful candidate will be required to oversee Business Operation Processes and carve out tasks to take on-board, allowing the COO to focus on additional and current Project Management responsibilities.The role will have a wide reach and suit someone from a high-level managerial background with exposure across the business.Areas of focus:· Operations in the building, taking on, line management of the business support team· Contract reviews, for NDAs, Material Transfer Agreements, standard collaboration agreements (training can be given what to look for, including insurance liability, IP protection etc)· New starter approvals and other approval processes· Attend meetings and report back, over time take on some meeting attendee roles in their own name· Assist with drafting documents for meetings/ briefings/board briefings etc, ability to Chair operational teams· Assisting the prep for Board Meetings and Paperwork.· Updating risk register (excellent Excel skills will be needed)· Helping draft standard policiesExperience:Essential:· Working in an operational or project management role, dealing with operational aspects.· Change Management· People Management· Drafting documents/policies· Managing Operational Teams· Ability to assess risksDesirable:· Budget management and Financial Skills· Legal experience of reviewing contractsThe role requires someone who is able to start immediately on a temporary basis but is open to candidates on a 5-year contract basis in addition.Please apply online in the first instance or contact Wendy Wakefield or Lesley Freeman at Atkinson Moss.
