Whilst the school runs on a standard academic calendar, the residential service remains open throughout the year, and as such the receptionarea remains open throughout the year.The successful applicant will manage the provide administrative and clerical functions for the school and its staff, ensuring that services are provided in an efficient, effective and timely way and in compliance with the requirements of the group and theschool senior leadership team.To deliver a professional, efficient and effective administration service to the School, and ensure that the Schools safeguarding and health and safety procedures in relation to people entering and exiting the School building are implemented at all times.About usAcorn Park is a residential Special Educational Needs (SEN) School, set within a 30acre private estate. We educate up to 107 young people across the breadth of the autistic spectrum and ensure they live, learn and play in a holistic, happy and safe environment.Our school includes primary, secondary and post-16 provision. For young people working within, or close to, age-related expectations, our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum. For our secondary pupils, we offer specialist teaching in almost allsubjects and a wide range of optional subjects in key stage 4.
