Job Description

Multi-Skilled Carpenter - Spider is advertising on behalf of a well- established company who designs and make purpose-built spas and pools for the luxury yacht and cruise ship industries based in Wymondham, Norfolk.Due to their high success, they are fully booked for 2021 and are now discussing projects for 2022 and 2023.Are you Multi-Skilled Carpenter, GRP Laminator or Moulder Are you highly motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision to exact deadlines Would you like to be a part of their rapidly expanding company If so, we would love to hear from you!Working as part of a small growing team, you will report back directly to the Management team and will be part of the decision-making process in all aspects of the development and future growth of the composite, fibreglass and mould production. You will be involved with all areas of production, including metal works, fitting, plumbing and also training up team members.Your other key duties:

  • Work with CAD and other 3D model drawings, to produce precision moulds to exact standards, for a high-end product up to 10 metres in length.
  • Working with materials including wood, wood panelling, laminated boards, routing curved sections and radius, composite filling and polishing is to a mirror finished level.
  • Potential of overseas work for certain projects, for the delivery of the product.
    • The ideal candidate will have GRP production experience or have carpentry skills gained from an environment such as the exhibition sector, where you have developed your skills to be able to craft moulds. You will need to have previous experience with CAD and other 3D model drawings.This Multi-Skilled Carpenter position is a Full-Time position.
