Job Description

Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a successful domiciliary care agency that have been assisting people to live comfortably within their homes since 2012. We’re looking to add to their team of Mental Health Care Assistants and are looking for candidateswho are passionate about making a difference in peoples lives. Pay rates (when using your own transport) vary from £13.75ph to £15.75ph depending on your experience and shift (all carry an extra 20p per mile for mileage). There is a huge range of flexibleworking patterns for both full and part time applicants so if you’re particularly wishing for school hours, weekends, nights or just days, please get in touch ... in fact, any pattern that works for you can be considered!With branches located in Norwich, Snetterton and Halesworth, your choice of local area in which to work is wide - for example Norfolk locations could be Diss, Harleston, Attleborough, Wymondham and Watton.   • Provide compassionate and personalised mental health care to individuals in their homes
  • Offering companionship and a friendly, reassuring presence
  • Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light domestic work, shopping and mobility support
  • Foster a supportive and safe environment for clients, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
Requirements:
  • Two years’ experience in mental health or one year caregiving preferred
  • Empathetic and patient demeanour with friendly and professional communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to various care needs and work collaboratively within a team
  • Valid UK drivers licence and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check (paid for by the company)
