My client is a Norwich based chartered firm who have been providing advice to Norfolk and afar for over fifty years and you can become part of their success by supporting their team of professionals as a Marketing Assistant.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a moderate level of marketing experience to join a fantastic firm in a diverse and exciting marketing role where you will be involved in digital marketing as well as arranging hospitality events.Job summaryTo support the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement the company’s marketing plans and strategies.Key responsibilitiesTo undertake general administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department’s activities including scanning, filing and processing incoming marketing.Assisting with the organisation of company events, including research of venues, suppliers and management of event logistics, pre-event planning including delegate packs and presentations and attending events both inside and outside of normal office hours.You will liaise with the Marketing & Communications Manager to ensure all events run smoothly.You will conduct email marketing campaigns.You will write copy for online communications to increase the company’s online presence.You will maintain, produce and post content on the company’s website and social media accounts, ensuring the company’s brand is consistently applied across all communications and platforms, liaising with the Marketing & Communications Manager and Complianceteam as required.You will understand the company’s brand and have a general understanding of the financial service and insurance industry.Other general administration duties as assigned.QualificationsFoundation Certificate in Marketing (Desirable)5 GCSE’s grade A-C or 9-4 including Maths and EnglishExperienceProven experience as a Marketing AssistantKnowledge and skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and adhere to deadlinesAbility to work in a team and independentlyExcellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Buffer, WordPress and Creative Suite Software)A high level of attention to detail and accuracyCreativityConfidentialityTime management and organisational skillsBenefits- 10% pension contribution- 4 x death in service- Bupa cash plan, covers medical prescription costs etc.- 21 days holiday + BH, increases incrementally following 2 years’ service to a maximum of 27 days- Support with professional qualifications
