Job Description

Marketing and Communications Officer - Norwich£24,200 - £25,200 p/aSwarm Recruitment are excited to be supporting an adult and childrens charity to find a Marketing and Communications officer. The charity does fantastic workk within the community supporting the families of those with additional needs as well as the individualsthemselves. Now coming into their 50th year of service, they are searching for a Marketing and Communications Officer to promote the wonderful work that they do and secure future funding.Main Responsibilities

  • Working in partnership with the CEO to develop and maintain fundraising and communication strategies
  • Representing the charity at events to members of the public and existing supporters
  • Maintain the website and social media accounts, ensuring that there are regular and relevant updates
  • Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable initiatives
  • Creating an annual calendar of charity events
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials
Essential experience and skills
  • Experience of updating and using a website and social media platforms to support the work of an organisation
  • Ability to plan and run corporate or charity events
  • History of public speaking to a wide range of audiences
  • High standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills - particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within a budget
  • Ability to work flexibly as the role requires
  • Access to transport or own car
  • Self-motivated and creative
