Job Description

Maintenance Person - 25 hours per weekAre you looking for variety in your job where no two days are the same Are you a hands on personThe quality and appearance of our care home and their grounds create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and great pleasure for the residents and their families. Our Maintenance Teams take pride in maintaining our buildings andgardens to the highest possible standards. Castlemeadow Care owns and operates care homes and assisted living units across Norfolk & Suffolk.The Maintenance Person will ensure that the home, equipment and gardens are maintained to a high standard and remain fully functional at all times, thereby ensuring the comfort, safety and wellbeing of the homes residents, staff and visitors.You will be involved in all types of property refurbishment and maintenance including painting & decorating, basic plumbing, like for like electrical work and tiling. The ideal person must be self-driven, able to meet deadlines, have the ability to problemsolve and complete a wide variety of tasks on their own as well as of part of a team.Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance work on the homes grounds, gardens and building externals to produce an aesthetically pleasing, well maintained and safe environment.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained and safely secured at all times.
  • Ensure that all work undertaken is with full consideration to the comfort, security and sensitivity of the residents.
