Job Description

Lecturer in Maths36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year£30,734 - £36,710 per annum The PostWe are pleased to offer a full time permanent position within our large and ever growing innovative and proactive team. We are one of the largest post-16 GCSE centres in the UK, teaching English and Maths to approximately 4,500 full time learners. You willbe required to teach functional skills and GCSE Mathematics to predominantly 16 - 19 year olds alongside their vocational qualifications as an integral part of their programme of study. Some experience of teaching students with barriers and challenges to learningwould be an advantage and you would be required to course lead a curriculum area.English and MathsThe School teaches, English and Maths GCSEs and Functional Skills. Key features of the Centre include:

  • We work very closely with course teams across the College to ensure successful English and Maths outcomes for those studying full time vocational qualifications.
  • A specialist tutorial team working closely with students, teachers and parents and providing support for progression to further and higher education, employment and training
  • Access to the Colleges wide range of specialist services such as our library, additional learning support and personal and financial support
