Job Description

Were recruiting for a Lead Developer for a well-known brand in the west of Norwich. Our client needs someone with at least 2 years previous experience as a Lead Developer to design, develop, and test applications, process improvements, and ERP extensions across the business.Key Accountabilities

  • Architect, design, and develop solutions suitable for a fast-moving international business.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders
  • Use your skills as a Subject Matter Expert to guide the business to a suitable technical solution that meets the business needs.
  • Be accountable for project timescales and team output.
  • Prioritise team and personal workloads through effective time management.
  • Provide any necessary IT help and support to ensure a customer-focused IT Team.
  • Coach and mentor the other members of the team to engender knowledge and skills sharing.
  • Line-manage team members, providing constructive feedback both informally and formally
Skills
  • At least 5 years C# or VB development experience (using the .NET Framework)
  • At least 5 years T-SQL or PL/SQL to a high standard
  • At least 5 years JavaScript / jQuery / AngularJS
  • At least 5 years supporting or developing Electronic Finance Systems or ERP platforms
  • At least 2 years as a Lead Developer / Development Team Leader
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
  • Good understanding of the core Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices
  • Understanding of the full (SDLC) project life-cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of Object Orientation, and multi-threaded application design
