Job Description

Junior Developer - Norwich - £22,000 - Web Agency Cloudscope are recruiting exclusively for a leading web development agency in Norwich that are looking for a full time, permanent, Junior Developer to learn and progress, becoming a pivotal part of their team. You will join a team of 30+ developers workingon exciting and varied projects, with like minded individuals. You will have access to cutting edge technology and training programmes to develop your skills quickly. This role will suit a Computer Science/IT Graduate or someone with less than a years experienceas a web developer, looking for better progression in a reputable tech company.Salary starts at £22,000 and the role office based to ensure your development is well looked after, with remote working options further beyond.You will ideally have a keen interest or previous training in:• Web Development technologies, e.g HTML/CSS/SASS/JavaScript• Server side scripting language, e.g PHP, C#• A passion for design and UX• Strong organizational and analytical ability• Excellent critical thinking skills• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and required quality standards• Ability to multi-task and prioritise responsibilities• Excellent oral and written communication• The desire to learn, improve and work within a close knit team• A strong customer focusExtra skills that would be great

  • Keen interest any Linux based server administration
  • Keen interest in Version Control technologies, e.g Git.
Some specifics of the role
  • Youll be working on a wide range of projects, joining a large technical team of 30+ developers. Youll be part of a smaller squad of developers to give plenty of support and working with a Project Manager to help organise and liaise with customers.
  • Projects range from small websites to large eCommerce systems, Bespoke CRMs, Unreal Engine and mobile apps. Youll be working to the GIT Flow standard and deploying your work to Develop, Staging and then Live environments.
