Job: Junior C# Software EngineerSalary: £25,000 - £32,000 Location: NorwichOur client, a leading exponent in digital product content and virtual merchandising applications on a global scale, are looking to extend their talented team by bringing in board 2 new Junior Software Engineers.Youll joining on of the world most trusted providers in digital content, that has been powering ecommerce solutions for over 20 years. Their mission is to enable exceptional consumer experiences, building cutting-edge solutions to empower both internal and external customers.The roles will suit you if youve had some commercial experience *Ideally 1-2 years +. Youll get the opportunity to work on full-stack Software engineering working on cloud based systems with the likes of React, C#, .NET Core and Azure. The position will suit someone who enjoys a fast paced, innovative environment where the team strive to push the limits of traditional software design and development daily. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will form part of a balanced Scrum team working on end-to-end solutions in an agile manner. The team has a strong best practice approach and are passionate about putting out only the highest quality solutions. As someone who is still relatively early in their career, this role offers you the opportunity to surround yourself with knowledgeable developers who you can learn from, and be confident that your skills are being aligned with best-practice. Joining one of the larger software departments in the area means that you should have a good selection of role models and peers to make sure that you continue to learn and developer as a professional and a programmer.Core technologies- C# (asp.net / .net core)- Cloud technologies (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP fine also)- JavaScript + framework (React preferred, Angular / Vue.js)- SQL Server - Unit testing (Experience with C#, SQL and JavaScript are the main essentials)Youll get the opportunity to:- Work as part of a SCRUM team within an agile environment.- Work on software used across the world.- Work across the full product lifecycle.- Participate in Sprint events and interact with stakeholders, developers and product owners alike.- Participate in peer code reviews- Be part of a friendly talented team passionate about technology.Youll join a company that has continued to grow and thrive despite the past year, that cares about quality and best practice, whilst still maintaining a relaxed and informal environment.
