IT and Computing ServiceIT Service GroupIT Support Technician (3 posts, 1 indefinite & 2 fixed term)Ref: TC831£23,715 to £27,131 per annum**THIS VACANCY MUST BE APPLIED FOR VIA THE UEA WEBSITE**We have exciting opportunities for IT professionals with a strong background in IT support and service delivery to join our support teams. You will make a significant contribution to the on-going delivery of our service and help to provide IT solutions toour customers within a changing business and technical environment.You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment with a solutions-focussed approach to problems and supporting projects. Your wide range of practical IT technical skills and self-motivatedapproach will ensure the provision of services and support for a range of customers and you will play your part in delivering our diverse IT strategy.The role requires you to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Experience of Service Management (SM) principles in line with the IT Infrastructure Librarys best practice framework and the use of ITSM systems, would be advantageous.We have three full-time posts immediately available, one on an indefinite basis and two on a fixed term basis ending 6 March 2023 and 31 July 2023.UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, parttime, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
