We are currently recruiting an IT Security Manager for one of the best known brands in Norwich, to take a lead on their newly created Security team. Thie role would suit as seasoned Security Manager, or someone looking to make a step in to this type of role after completing recent qualifications. Ideally you will have leadership experience, to enable you to support, mentor and develop your team once theyare onboard. Responsibilities include:Overall log management and strategy definitionSecurity monitoring and alertingIncident triage and management Training and development of the IT teamPatch management of the overall IT Systems Risk and vulnerability management Delivery and maintenance of accreditations status (PCI, Cyber Essentials etc) Experience in some of the below (not all) would be brilliant as there is plenty of opportunity to learn in the role: Information security certification and process deliveryExperience with any of the following - LogRyythm, NXLog, Tenable, Snort Managed IT Security monitoring systems and compliance processes (Audit etc)Configuration, implementation and maintenance of security systemsExpert networking and server knowledgeKnowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploitsEnd to end incident management As a newly implemented team, you will need to be comfortable in getting stuck in to research, implement and manage new and existing processes, lead a team in knowledge sharing and development, as well as engaging with keys stakeholders across the business todeliver exceptional security solutions and risk management processes.
