Job Description

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to expand their technical support team to assist the Technical Directorin ensuring that they maintain high service levels as they grow.Operating as part of the Tech team and reporting to the Technical Director, the aim would be to grow into a role whereby you would directly support the Technical Director as their deputy.The position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work as part of an already successful team in providing direct IT support. As such you would be involved in decision making for products and design of IT networks for customers. This opportunitywould suit an experienced IT support technician who wishes to expand their horizons and have a direct input into developing an IT support service.Experience of working in an MSP environment is advantageous as would Google Cloud Platform and AWS.We would require you to have qualifications broadly in line with the following:Microsoft AccreditationCompTIA AccreditationWindows Server 2019/2022Windows 10Office 365AzureActive DirectoryVMWareHyper VSQLNetworking ExperienceDuties and responsibilities include: -

  • Developing IT support services to existing and new clients
  • Dealing with support issues on a day to day basis
  • Assisting sales with solutions for existing and new clients
  • Installing hardware on customer sites working as part of a team
  • Researching new products and services
  • Acting as deputy to the Tech Director to cover holidays
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the tech support department
  • Upskilling training with manufacturers
  • Developing cyber security solutions working with specialist partner companies
  • Developing our client software Connectwise to integrate information.
