Obtaining experience of providing a professional and customer focused serviceand gain a solid grounding for a future career in IT and Digital spheres Interested . Then read on.What you could be part ofAs well as working for your Level 3 Apprenticeship you would also be working within a busy IT/Digital team using a range of development tools to create solutions for both our internal and external customers.Covering a wide range of business areas across both Broadland and South Norfolk District Councils supporting 126,000 properties and a joint electorate of 213,000 we currently receive 363,000 web site page views a month.Working at the Council enables you to be part of an organisation which is proud to deliver high-quality, customer focussed services. Continuous improvement is also vital and we challengeourselves to develop new and innovative ways to improve the services that make a real difference to peoples lives.What youll be doing

  • Supporting staff with their IT systems
  • Assisting resolution of IT issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Liaising with user and suppliers of contracted services such as mobile phones, photocopiers and consumables
  • Assist in the implementation of new and improving existing office systems
  • Encourage users to adopt best practices with regards to our IT systems
You must have
  • Numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Good IT and communication skills
  • Transportation to both primary work locations
  • The ability and willingness to study for a Level 3 apprenticeship in a relevant IT Apprenticeship qualification including off the job training opportunities (20%)
