Interim Finance Reporting Managers x 2 - £50,000 to £80,000 for national locationsWe are recruiting for several Interim Finance Reporting Managers to join our UK General Insurance (UKGI) Financial Reporting Team on a secondment basis, for up to 18 months. These roles are being created to support and provide capacity while UKGI Finance undertakes a financial transformation programme to make sure it as effective and efficient as possible. One of these roles will be aligned to our Solvency II Reporting team, which is a more senior role paying £70k to £80k, whereas the other position will be aligned to our Consolidation team, and is the grade below, paying circa £50k.These roles will be ideal for qualified Accountancy professionals who have superb financial reporting skills and are now readily available to start a new role(s) in the new year (i.e., from February 2023 onwards, contract length 12 to 18 months)A bit about the job:The Senior Manager role will focus on Solvency II reporting for our UKGI side of our business, including legal entities, covering preparation of monthly forecasting, quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, governance, analysis and insight for Solo andGroup reporting. They will also deal with continued implementation of IFRS 17 impacts, process improvements, ad hoc requests, and broader Reporting deliverables.The Manager role will produce Group reporting submissions to allow for the preparation of consolidated results, including the efficient and timely flow of results from general ledger into the consolidation system, statutory accounts and solvency reporting.This requires the ability to understand and interpret large amounts of data, then ensure it is accurately reported.Aviva introduced "smart-working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from our Norwich, York, Bristol, Eastleigh, and Sheffield offices.Skills and experience were looking for:
