Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner - Norwich - 35kAre you an experienced HR Business Partner Do you enjoy the fast paced environment of manufacturing Two days are never the same in this role, from delivery of operational HR requirements to employee guidance, support and people development.Working with a busy and focused HR team your role will be challenging but rewarding with more complex issues such as employee relations case managment, support and implementation of site plans, projects including change management, contract management, andgetting involved with weekly company coffee shops to engage with workforce.Support Operational team by attending functional meetings and offering HR support with manpower planning, recruitment and retention, as well as liaise with training to support ongoing people development. Co-ordinate the planning and successful delivery ofall operational change management projects (i.e. shift changes, departmental restructures etc) Support the Recruitment Co-ordinator to ensure vacancies are planned for and filled in line within agreed site establishment. Direct the HR Co-ordinators daily activitiesin the absence of the HR Manager.

  • Generalist HR experience covering all aspects of HR management
  • Ideally CIPD qualified (Level 5) or working towards and/or can demonstrate in depth understanding of best practice HR tools & strategies
  • A track record of success ideally gained in a fast paced, cost conscious and customer focused business environment
  • Experience to managing complex ER issues
  • Good relationship and rapport building skills with internal and external contacts at any level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical HR information clearly and concisely
  • Sound current knowledge of UK employment legislation regarding employment, e.g. collective agreements, dismissal and discrimination
