We sit at the centre of everything that the Government does and have provided advice on economic policy and decisions that affect the publicfinances throughout the countrys history.The HR Team provides services in Recruitment, Onboarding, HR Policy, Employee Lifecycle Processing, Workforce Planning, Case Work, HR Business Partnering, Pay and Reward, Learning and Development, Pensions and People Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunityif you are looking to develop a career within HR and will provide a broad range of experience of working in government.This role sits in the Onboarding Team, as part of a wider HR Team which provides services in Recruitment, HR Policy, Employee Lifecycle Processing, Workforce Planning, Case Work, HR Business Partnering, Pay and Reward, Learning and Development, Pensionsand People Strategy. Youll benefit from bespoke technology, free on-site car parking, publictransport from the city centre, an onsite gym and supermarket, caf and gym/swimming pool all within close walking distance.The Onboarding Team are responsible for processing new starters, staff returning to the department and internal job movers, post acceptance of a job offer, using an online onboarding system.Key Accountabilities;It is likely that there will be more than one role available within the team. Key Accountabilities include;

  • Deliver a customer focussed service to the Treasury Group, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of onboarding transactions and queries.
  • Line manage circa 2 personnel, responsible for training, workload management and quality assurance.
  • Grant security clearances, escalating complex cases to the departmental Security Lead.
  • Support process and system configuration changes, ensuring standard operating procedures are updated and team members are operationally effective.
  • Contribute to user acceptance testing for Oracle/Taleo Onboarding system upgrades, ensuring operational effectiveness of processes for end users.
  • Support the delivery of bespoke onboarding processes e.g. bulk recruitment exercises, working alongside HR partners to deliver positive and timely outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues in wider teams including TGSS, Security and Recruitment.
  • We operate flexibly across the team and branch as new priorities emerge, so responsibilities may change over time.
What youll bring to the roleOur successful candidate will have proven experience working in a customer service environment, as well as an ability to build positive and productive working relationships. Youll have a strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
