Job Description

A new, exciting opportunity has recently become available working for a well-respected professional services organisation, who are seeking an experienced generalist HR Assistant to join their busy team. Based in stylish offices in the City Centre, the successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the HR Manager providing general HR support to duel offices and assisting with the day-to-day recruitment of professional and support staff into the business.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very prestigious firm, who’s employees are at the very heart of everything they do, creating a highly supportive and friendly environment.Duties to include:

  • Assisting with the recruitment for dual sites including advertising, interviewing and selection, dealing with agencies, managing testing and providing feedback.
  • Handling offers for employment, liaising with the hiring partner/manager regarding these.
  • Managing and organising the induction process for new starters, ensuring all pre-employment checks are carried out and induction programmes are prepared.
  • Maintaining HR systems and ensure information is updated accurately.
  • Support the production and checking of salary review letters.
  • Collating changes, entering data and assisting the Payroll manager as required.
  • Assisting with performance reviews, absence, and be the first point of contact for recruitment issues for both offices.
  • Processing supplier invoices for new starters, benefits and contractors.
  • Maintaining regular contact with the wider HR team, partners and employees across the organisation as well as ad-hoc support as required.
  • You will have/be:
  • Minimum of 12 months’ previous experience in a similar role focusing on recruiting and general HR administration.
  • Rounded organisation and administrative skills.
  • Confident communication skills at all levels, verbally and in writing.
  • Results orientated, along with a logical, strategic approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to deal quickly and accurately with a high volume of work with conflicting deadlines.
  • Dedication to continued personal and professional development.
  • An ability to prioritise workload and be proactive in decision making.
  • Experience of working with HR databases and possess strong IT skills.
  • This is a full time, permanent positions working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The offered salary for this positions is £20,000 - £23,000 dependant on experience.
