Job Description

Salary and Hours: £32,393 - £36,935 (subject to grading) hours per weekContract Type: Fixed Term for 2 yearsLocation: South Norfolk andBroadland District Councils, Thorpe Lodge, Norwich, NR7 0DU and Norwich County Hall.Role Snapshot This is an exciting new role to work between the local authorities and North and South Norfolk NHS locality team to support the development of the emerging South Norfolk and Broadland Health and Wellbeing Partnerships, multi-agency partnerships whose focusis on prevention of crises and addressing inequality. The successful applicant will be embedded within both teams, to ensure excellent links for the shared work of the organisationsYou will be employed by the district council and work across the partnership, reporting both to the Councils One Team and Integrated Care System locality teams at Place level. You will build on existing collaboration to further explore system and resourceintegration across the partnerships with the aim of improving patient / customer experience, and drive savings through reducing duplication and system delay.What youll be doing

  • Develop comprehensive, forward planning research and evidence-based policy, in consultation with front line services, local and national data and policy drivers to help inform policy and work stream development.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the Health and Wellbeing Partnerships, as well as support of subsequent projects and work streams of, such as developing project specifications, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.
  • Organise meetings, prepare and make available information, such as project and meeting materials for stakeholders, and engage with a range of people across the Place.
  • Keep abreast of, and update partners on, Government initiatives, funding streams and policy formation relating to cost-of-living, inequality and health and wellbeing, and relate to local priorities for discussion at Board level.
  • Developing funding/bid applications and monitor performance to secure inward investment from local and national sources that can be used within the partnership on identified priorities.
  • Provide high quality reports that are presentable to a wider audience and are both politically aware and are empathetic to the complexity of partnership working.
You must have/be
  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Demonstrable experience in and good understanding of policy relating to health, wellbeing, anticipatory care and health inequalities, with evidence of ability to work within various governance systems to help deliver policy.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare reports and make available information, such as project and meeting materials.
  • Evidence of partnership working and ability to develop key relationships and maintain networks with diverse groups.
  • Evidence of effective project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills with ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to travel within and outside of the district geographical area.
  • 71 - 85% of this roles time will be spent on external communication.
