HSE Recruitment are working with a chemical manufacturing company, working with world leading end clients, on the recruitment of a QHSE Consultant. This role is offered on a day rate basis and requires an immediate start – and will run for approximately 12 months. This role is based from their site in East Anglia. As a QHSE Consultant you will be working closely with an existing team, but overarching them as a specialist in Upper tier COMAH sites. Your role will be to do a deep dive across the company systems, policies, and procedures and critically evaluate them effectively, ensuring best practice in every area is being adhered to. You will need to have extensive, and in-depth experience of working on upper tier COMAH sites, HAZOP and process safety and be extremely technically minded. This role would be ideal for someone who is ex-inspectorate, or has a similar mindset, and the ability to keep asking questions to really drive to the heart of any issues (whether that be individual actions/human factors/culture issues). This is a fascinating role for someone with a mind for investigation and the ability to understand high level technical work. You must have extensive chemical manufacturing experience, particularly on top tier COMAH sites, and ideally will be a Chartered member of IOSH (if not a fellow). You will be degree educated in either chemicals or Health and Safety and will be able to show extensive experience of similar roles in an interim capacity.
