Our client a local charity is looking for an experienced Head of HR to join their team.Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Professional to lead our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives. They will also be responsiblefor managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives.• Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.• Oversee the administration of payroll and other HR-related systems.• Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.• Manage and develop the HR team.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field / CIPD• At least 10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong leadership and management skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.For more information about the client or the role please do call the Norwich office of Reed and ask for Andrea Makings or Maxine EttridgePlease also request Andrea or Maxine on Linkedin
