Job Description

Our client, a local sports club, are currently seeking an enthusiastic Groundsperson to join their busy team!Reporting into the Head Groundsperson, you will maintain and prepare all playing surfaces to a very high standard.Do you have a positive can-do attitude to continue to drive positive cultureAre you

If so, this may be the role for you!Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring all playing surfaces are maintained and ready for use.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained and regularly brushed.
  • Agree with the Grounds Supervisor and Head Groundsman and assist in delivering a maintenance programme.
  • Maintain all grounds areas as required and directed by the Grounds Supervisor and Head Groundsman.
The successful candidate will have to be physically fit as the role requires a lot of physical work, including walking up to 10 miles per day. Will have Knowledge and experience in a similar background, ideally a sporting environment and have Lantra certificates,Grounds QualificationsThis is a full time, permanent position - working 40 hours a week, 5 out of 7 days. The hours will involve some unsociable hours and weekend work.
