Job Description

R13 recruitment are partnering with a fast paced and dynamic marketing agency in their search for a graduate to join with a PR and Media Relations capacity. The main focus of this role will be to provide support to a range of PR accounts through a rangeof activities from writing presses releases and developing creative pitches through to maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure their needs are being met.This is a unique and exciting prospect to be fully supported as part of a step-by-step training programme, allowing you to gain excellent exposure into the work of PR and Media.The suitable candidate will be a highly creative and a confident communicator, who is passionate about developing a career within PR and ready to get stuck in and learn all aspects of the job. You will benefit from an integrated training approach, acrossa range of disciplines, being guided by a highly experienced and supportive team.Duties to include:

  • Supporting the account management team in providing an effective PR service.
  • Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for specified accounts.
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing strategies and plans.
  • Delivering written copy and press releases, ensuring a high standard of writing and grammar.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, media contacts and influencers.
  • Contributing the planned influencer activity.
  • Producing monthly/annual content as directed.
  • Contributing to the measurement and reporting of campaigns/activity.
  • Monitoring industry and digital trends and sharing any insights with the wider team.
  • Working in collaboration with colleagues to develop the agencys PR offering.
You will have/be:
  • A recent graduate in a relevant field of study, such as marketing.
  • Naturally interested in the world of PR and developing a career within this area.
  • Experience with social media platforms and awareness of the latest digital trends.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to exercise initiative when performing tasks in the office and prioritise own workload
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Organised, team player, self-starter, ambitious and committed.
  • Eager to get involved liaising with clients, media and influencers.
  • IT literate, including the use of Microsoft Office.
This is a full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, with flexible working options available.
