Job Description

Serve Talent have partnered with a successful Oil & Gas centric manufacturing business to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer for their manufacturing facility based in Norwich, Norfolk.You, as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, will be working closely with the Research & Development team providing support and designing the companies range of industry leading technology. The R&D team is casual but fast paced environment where two daysare rarely the same.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working alongside the Research & Development team in the design of the companies range of products using 3D CAD.
  • Project lead Sustaining projects.
  • Carry out prototype assembly and testing.
  • Carry out design and documentation processes.
  • Awareness of compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring that there is continual improvement.
Ideally youll have:
  • A graduate with a degree in a similar industry/background.
  • CAD knowledge with one of the mainstream packages (CREO/Inventor/Solidworks), and an ability to create models and drawings quickly and effortlessly.
  • Good understanding of materials and processes for mechanical and electromechanical manufacturing.
