Job Description

REED are working exclusively with a local organisation, recruiting the position of Governance and Executive Assistant to support the CEO and Finance Director with their responsibilities and to ensure good governance, effective leadership of the company, and support in the delivery of continuous development.Working hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week).Responsibilities Lead for governance support within the organisation including all required governance meetings (preparing and issue agendas and supporting papers, attending meetings and drafting minutes, circulating information etc) Oversee coordination of governance training and development activity Organise appointments and elections to boards and committees Arranging appointment to temporary vacancies Lead the development and communications for future meetings Maintain accurate records of governance related information and maintain updated knowledge on good practice Build relation with Governance leads in other organisations Main point of contact for the Chief Executive and Finance Director Provide confidential administrative and day to day support Producing correspondence including letters, emails and reports Diary management, arranging meetings including catering and booking of meeting rooms. Updating companies house and director information Supporting with internal meetings of staff Welcoming visitors to the office, hosting meeting and events as required Provide supervision and line management of volunteers, work experience and adhoc staff to support office functions Other reasonable duties as requiredRequirements Proven experience in a similar Executive support roleessential Experience of coordinating governance- essential High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Upholds Confidentiality at all times Excellent stakeholder management and ability to deal with people at all levels Project management skills Able to problem solve and create solutions Able to influence and engage with others Strong Administrative capabilities including IT skills Excellent written and verbal communication Calm and professional disposition Self-motivated and strong use of initiative Able to respond quickly to changing priorities Logical and able to methodically prioritise a busy workload Experience in diary management, organisation of events and meetingsPackage Salary of £28,000- £32,000 dependant on experience 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Pension Scheme Free Parking Life Assurance/Death in Service Healthcare planPlease apply online asap if youre interested with your updated CV, or share with someone you know who may be interested.
