Flexographic Print AssistantFulltime - Permanent roleStarting Rate - £ 10.80 p/hrAfter probation period - £ 11.40 p/hr3 shifts pattern.- early shift 6am-2pm-late shift 2pm-10pm-night shift 10pm-6am (start Monday finish Saturday 6am)For successful candidates after probation period there is opportunity of training as machine operator.Key Areas of Responsibility Comply with all Health & Safety Policies, and promote a safe working environment Support the Flexographic Printers to achieve KPIs and quality levels set by the Company Ensure day-to-day running of the Printing Presses are fully utilised and optimised, including the covering of breaks where possible Machine Make-Ready times to be optimised where possible Assist in producing finished goods in accordance with client and Customer Specifications, whilst monitoring quality, Minimise downtime by ensuring all inputs for the next job are ready - inks, plates, chambers, materials etc. Complete all relevant paperwork (Daily Production Sheets) and input data onto the computer systems accurately to ensure checks can be carried out Keeping high standards of presentation of finished goods to the customer Ensure effective shift change-over is carried out Working to tight schedules Provide holiday and sickness cover where possible Maintain good standards of housekeeping, following the Company Clean As You Go Policy Support the Print Manager in concluding spoilage and NC investigations and customer complaints Have clear understanding of the Company / Staff HandbookKey Requirements Ability to manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment, whilst maintaining standards within the business Should be able to use own initiative when necessary, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision Organised and calm under pressure Ability to problem solve, and have a proactive, positive, enthusiastic can do attitude Good organisational and self motivational skills High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times Good attendance and timekeeping Willingness to multi-skill and be a flexible team player based on the needs and demands of the business A desire to continually improveJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £10.80-£11.40 per hourBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeExperience:Factory worker: 1 year (preferred)Shift availability:Day shift (required)Night shift (required)Overnight shift (required)This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is immediately available for the right candidate.Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist engineering recruitment company based in Norfolk
