Flexible Production Operative - Fishergate, Norwich - salary £26,500 - £32,763 per annum**The Operations team are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Production Operative to join the Fishergate site, based in Norwich. This role is to be employed on 37.5 hours basis in order to support the business to meet its changing production demands.This role will predominantly be based on a Rotating Three Shift pattern.The successful applicant will need to demonstrate full flexibility in terms of all shift patterns and work areas within the operations function .Previous experience working within a factory/operations environment or working shifts will be an advantage. Full training will be provided to develop the necessary skills for this multi-skilled role.Key requirements of this role include an ability to;
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures and be proactive in supporting a positive health and safety culture;
  • Adhere to defined procedures and performance standards to ensure operations are compliant with the required quality standards to meet customer requirements;
  • Participate in proactive problem solving exercises to address any issues impacting on production;
  • Communicate with all team members to ensure that a high quality handover takes place;
  • Understand basic numerical data required to operate to the required production standards;
  • Work well on own initiative and as a member of various teams within the Operations function;
  • Become a valued multi-skilled operator that can work multiple roles.
In return we offer:** The starting Salary for this role is £26,500 per annum on the Training Grade. Upon successfully completing a probation period of usually 3 months, the candidate will progress to N1 Grade with a salary increase to £28,896 per annum. There is then opportunityto train and develop in this role with the future opportunity to increase to the next grade levels up to a salary of £32,763.
