Job Description

Fire Risk Assessor Norwich Region£45,000 plus a company car My client is seeking a new Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing business as part of their Norwich and Eastern team in the UK. As a Fire Risk Assessor you will work directly with their clients across a range of sites including domestic, commercial andindustrial environments.Duties of a Fire Risk Assessor:

  • Completing risk assessments, surveys and audits for clients.
  • Filing reports and filing documentation following assessments to the highest standard.
  • Providing advice and information to clients on fire safety regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Consult using expert knowledge of the fire safety industry both internally and externally
  • Form relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements to be a Fire Risk Assessor:
  • Relevant qualifications such as
    • FPA, CFPA, IFE or NEBOSH (Fire)
  • Registered with relevant Risk Assessors Register
  • Experience as a risk assessor across a range of sites such as warehouses, council buildings, retail and domestic properties.
  • Proven experience in the fire safety and compliance industry.
  • Knowledge of fire industry standards e.g. BS 9999.
  • Excellent communicator, verbal and written, able to work directly with clients.
  • Organised and self-motivated, able to work independently, but towards company goals.
  • Able to use standard IT packages as well as bespoke software for assessments and reports.
This role as a Fire Risk Assessor is based in Norwich region and the East/South East of the UK, as a remote based role you will be required to travel out to client sites, a Driving License is essential for this role.
