Job Description

Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working alongside a global business based in the heart of Norwich, who seek to appoint a Financial Accountant. This is a newly created role due to growth within the business, full time 38 hours per week with the opportunityof hybrid working after probationary period.Main duties include:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and draft corporation tax returns
  • Submission of all VAT/GST (UK and overseas) returns in line with internal deadlines
  • Business compliance with UK/EU VAT and statutory regulations
  • Accuracy and integrity of accounting policies in adherence with FRS102
  • Preparation of draft statutory financials statements, tax computations and supporting data
  • Accurate, on time VAT and statistical filings
  • Assist Management with preparing for, embedding and managing, new applicable legislation
Experience required:
  • Statutory financial statement preparation
  • Providing VAT and tax advice (internal or external)
  • Working with external audit and tax teams
  • Providing financial support to non financial managers
This role would suit someone looking to make their first move from practice into industry or someone in a similar role looking to scale their experience and exposure.
